WHY WE ARE CALLED COVENANT YOUTH:
Because our identity is rooted in the unshakable relationship & promise of God. A covenant promise fulfilled in Jesus and written into our lives. Through the prophet Jeremiah, God declared He would establish a new covenant, not written on stone but on hearts, inviting His people into a real and lasting relationship with Him (Jeremiah 31:31, 33). That promise finds its fulfillment in Jesus, who said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood” (Luke 22:20; Matthew 26:28). Through His sacrifice, forgiveness is made complete and access to God is restored, establishing a new way of living defined by grace and relationship rather than ritual. 1 Peter 2:9 says we became a “chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession” , fulfilling the promise of Exodus 19:5-6.
As Hebrews teaches, Jesus is the mediator of this covenant, securing an eternal inheritance and writing God’s law on our hearts and minds (Hebrews 9:15; 10:16). Through the Spirit, we are made alive and transformed from the inside out, not bound to the letter but led in relationship (2 Corinthians 3:6). This covenant is not fragile or temporary. As declared in Isaiah 54:10, even if mountains move, God’s covenant of peace remains. We are Covenant Youth because through a personal relationship with our creator and Messiah, we are defined by the promise that is written on our hearts, sealed by Jesus, and secured forever by the faithfulness of God.
Our Goal-
Covenant Youth Camp, under the banner of HFF.CHURCH, a Saturday Church promoting Jesus as Messiah in Oklahoma City, OK started in 2023 to provide a summer camp for youth and junior youth to intentionally introduce them to Jesus and discipleship. The goal is to create a healthy and thriving environment for youth to engage and learn about Jesus (Yeshua) their Messiah, to be equipped to walk in a manner daily that promotes that Jesus is their salvation, and to engage in a safe and Holy Spirit lead environment with youth who share the faith from around the world. Covenant Youth Camp was established in 2023 by under the leadership of Brent Avery and Chris Franke and is an extension of the Covenant Youth Group at HFF. In 2025 Cam and Sarah Wallace who have helped run many Youth Camps took over as the HFF Youth Pastors and Camp Directors.
What to Expect-
Our summer camp is filled with spiritual teachings, discipleship in small groups, personal encounter time as well as fun, games, and fellowship time with new and old friends. At the conclusion of every day we have a corporate worship time filled with teaching, praise & worship, and prayer. Our youth and staff are all assigned to small “Groups” where they are encouraged to interact, dialogue, and grow together to strengthen relationships with Yeshua and each other. As a camp policy, we separate family while we are assigning the small “Groups” with the goal of encouraging them to develop new friends and spiritual growth. The week of camp is packed with activities and a schedule to ensure the youth get the most out of their financial investment in coming to the camp. Small groups will compete against one another daily in fun activities with the winning small group claiming the ‘Jesus Freak’ Award. During camp, all of our youth will participate in an original and challenging game, unlike anything they have experienced called the GLOW Game! This game develops team work, communication, and a focus on how we can overcome life’s struggles with the help of Jesus! We are all about keeping this camp intimate and focused on the goal of discipleship, in order to do that we will only allow a limited amount of campers to attend.
Daily Themes-
As a part of the spiritual growth, each day and corporate worship time has a spiritual theme. There are also a couple themed days during the week, these include: a special fun theme night each year, our Glow Game night, and ending with Unity Night. Participation in dressing up for the fun theme is voluntary.
Our Staff-
For over 17 years Christians from Baptist to Messianic and every denomination in between have entrusted their youth groups, and teenagers to attend summer camps run, founded, or counseled by our leadership across the US. In the last 17 years we have helped plant and counsel youth summer camps in IN, NC, SC, TN, CA, TX, FL, and even in Canada. Our staff follows the same goals and vision that we ask of the campers, train disciples to replace you, engage with each other in mentorship, develop life-long Christian relationships, and experience Jesus corporately and privately.
